On 2011

Looking back on the year, its been a year when the foundations of the past few years have really started to be built upon. Settling back in London was a good move, it’s got me into the ability to settle down and do stuff. The projects I’ve been involved with have soon become part of the landscape, the feast has become part of West Norwood, and Makerhood is growing to become the main port of call for Makers in the area. Its been great to be involved the past year helping to bring these projects into fruition, and I look forward to helping develop these projects in 2012.

It seems that the last year has seen a shift on my freelance side away from odd job isolated projects and onto active ongoing development. This is something I really prefer doing, getting involved not only with the coding or design, but also having a chance to steer projects and be actively involved with the development. Something I intend to pursue in 2012.

Elsewhere its been fun actually spending time in London again properly. Although most of that has been local, life in Herne Hill has been quite fun. I love the fact the park is so close and the amount of events that get put on over the year. Theres also been the chance to explore London, such as checking out the Abandoned tube station, and thats more I look forward to doing next year.

Overall its been a good 2011 and a much more positive one, I think the positive thinking for this year has really helped push things and should set me up for a good 2012.
