April in London

Continuing with the monthly update theme.

This month has been kinda busy, mostly web based things.. Seems odd being in London but not spending so much time travelling into central. I thought I would do more in the way of travelling, I have my regular haunts (mostly C4CC on Fridays and Royal Festival Hall) which seem to be my out of home workspaces, that and Federation Coffee in Brixton. Actually been spending a lot more time getting to know areas around me and working outside in the Garden now the suns out.

This months updates are the usual fare, Getting Makerhood ready for testing, been fun working with the girls and also their design team. Generally keeping the WNFeast site from falling over as it gets traffic spikes near to each feast day. Talking of which West Norwood Feast next market day is.. well tomorrow, so a bit late to be writing a blog post promoting it but if you want to see what happened there is my photos on flickr from the last feast and I will be there tommorow to have this upcoming feast well documented too.

I did spend Easter on the farm, it's quite a strange experience going back to the countryside from London, I have this strange relationship to London, always been drawn here, it sort of feels like home. I really like the escape facility though of the countryside, having a place to go to. My parents are wanting me to come back more often, though I don't think I'll be doing the weekly thing.

I had the fun of updating my sites hosting payment, though now I have the fun of actually sorting out my new site, that is something I definitely want to get sorted going forward in May. It's about time I gave it a proper portfolio of the work I have been doing...
