Back in London

This blog really has turned into a monthly thing hasn't it?

Well the big plus, I'm back living in London on a semi-permanent state and no longer simply staying on top of the pub in Brixton. i'm back in south London, not too far south of Brixton (now in Herne Hill) which is an area I got to know quite well on and off over the last year.

I've had a busy first month, mostly continuing with existing work projects, development meetings and building out the web presence for the West Norwood Space Makers project. I'm working on a new social start up that has some parallels but is very divergent in its implementation to the big startup project that never happened I was working on last year.

Earlier in the month I spent some time at the Really Free School in there first building before they got all the press attention. It was an interesting time learning everything from a derivatives trader telling us the inner secrets of trading, re-imagining the use of space, and took part in a debate on future of ICT in education.

It's not quite a comeback as I've been in and around London for a while over the last year, but I'm looking forward to having a new start down south...
