looking back on 2010

My photosets this year on Flickr, in many ways, what I post to Flickr has been a great way of documenting the activities I get involved with, particularly over the last year. I've been involved in so much, it's actual good to now have something to refer to about what I do on top of academic projects.
It's been a good, if slightly strange sort of year. I had hoped to be back in London full time, though the nomadic existence seems to have stuck with me, and I'm actually enjoying it. I've been involved in some very interesting projects in London, one obvious one dominates those photo sets (Space Makers Brixton Village if you haven't guessed) and I'm glad that they are being made use of as a record of that project, and I'm looking forward to being involved in the next one. Theres another social enterprise start up I'm involved with too. There have also been projects which, despite efforts did not materilize in the way thay I had hoped, more on that when the time is right, but importantly the experience of the attempt, and the practical skills that came out of it still made it worthwhile.
I've become more involved with project, I've been more practical, I've been uncivilised in the welsh countryside, I've got more practical projects under my belt now, and I'm looking forward to what 2011 has in store.
