December
December is a very strange month, as the year draws to an end, projects close down, new projects go into hibernation / slow development and any web dev work is usually finished off in the early part of the month. It's also the time I spend more either at home instead of travelling. It tends to be a natural wrap up and conclusion time, or a natural break. I'm more or less spending the time sketching and planing rather than doing on most projects, in some way it's good to have a break from hard deadlines.
The snow is outside, it's really a nice break from the bustle of the city, though while it can be nice to be on the farm for a while I still feel the calling of London. Whilst I was living in London proper I used to come back for New Years and really liked going out to the fireworks, its very different to being by the fire and watching sky lanterns pass over the fields on the farm.
It's also a time to think about how best I want to present myself in the new year, planing out what my new website should look like, and what kind of projects I want to be working on in the new year. I'm going to spend a little time looking back on the past year and forward into next, where I thought I would be and where I want to be, for now though, time to spend a few days off.
